Introduction

 Hello everyone, We are couple in our thirties looking to adopt due to infertility. M (potential dad) is a child & youth psychologist working in the youth sector and M (potential mum) works in health & safety / outdoor education equipment. We  are currently at the beginning of the cyfs process, we have been to the information day and are waiting for the next "How to care" 2 day seminars that are compulsory to attend while our paperwork is processed. We have chosen to access this site…See More

The official website of FSA (NZ) can be found at www.nzfsa.weebly.com . This provides further information about FSA and encouragement to couples and birthparents considering the adoption option through LDS Family Services in New Zealand. All previous issues of our FSA newsletters can be downloaded from here. We would love to add your adoption stories and photos as we further develop this site.

FSA Conference 2010

DATE AND TIME: 2 October 2010, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
VENUE: Temple View Chapel, Foster Road, Temple View, Hamilton
RSVP: By 15 September by replying to the "Conference 2010" Blog below (for FSA Members) or email fsanzl01@gmail.com


This conference provides education, information sharing, interest forums and support in relation to adoption in New Zealand to LDS couples. FSA is supported by LDS Family Services who assist in the running of the Conference.

The conference will be beneficial to all LDS Stake and Unit leaders, adoptive families, adoptees, birth families, and those considering adoption either as birth parents or adoptive couples. It will also be beneficial to community organisations that may provide education around adoption as an option for birth mothers.
